Thoughts · Feelings · Actions
A CBT-inspired colouring book that makes reflection gentler and more approachable.
EZ Wellbeing uses simple ideas associated with Cognitive Behavioural Therapy as prompts for creative reflection. It does not deliver CBT or clinical treatment. Instead, each design provides a calm setting in which a user can notice a thought, consider another perspective or reflect on a helpful action.
Clear answer
What does “CBT-inspired” mean here?
The prompts draw on the basic CBT idea that thoughts, feelings and behaviours can influence one another. They are brief, non-diagnostic and placed within a colouring activity. The book is a wellbeing resource, not a workbook supplied as part of a therapist-led CBT programme.
Why people choose it
A practical resource with room for individual choice.
Simple language
Prompts introduce one idea at a time instead of presenting technical terminology or a formal lesson.
Creative space
Colouring can make reflective time feel less direct for users who dislike blank worksheets or forced discussion.
Choice remains central
Users decide which page to open, whether to engage with the prompt and whether to share any response.
01 · Practical guidance
The connection between thoughts, feelings and behaviour
One situation can produce different thoughts, and those thoughts can influence emotion and action. For example, interpreting a mistake as proof that “I always fail” may lead to discouragement or avoidance. A more balanced interpretation does not pretend the mistake never happened; it places it in a fairer context and can support a more useful next step.
The book introduces this kind of reflection in short form. A user can notice a prompt while colouring and consider whether it relates to their own experience. There is no expectation to disclose an answer or complete a clinical exercise.
- Notice the thought attached to a situation
- Name the feeling without judging it
- Consider the action that followed
- Look for a balanced or useful next response
02 · Practical guidance
Why this is not the same as CBT therapy
CBT is a structured form of psychological therapy delivered by appropriately trained professionals. It can involve assessment, collaborative goals, tailored techniques and review over time. A published colouring book cannot reproduce that relationship or respond to an individual’s clinical needs.
EZ Wellbeing therefore describes the product carefully as CBT-inspired. It may complement a wider wellbeing routine or be selected by a professional as an optional activity, but it should not be advertised or understood as a course of therapy.
Inside the resource
One design, one prompt and space to use both your way.
Every page combines detailed artwork with a concise prompt connected to thoughts, feelings, behaviours, perspective or everyday wellbeing. The prompts are invitations rather than tests.

- CBT-inspired reflection wording
- Printed book and separate eBook
- Suitable for personal and supported use where appropriate
03 · Practical guidance
Using a prompt without turning it into homework
Read the prompt once, begin colouring and let the idea remain available rather than demanding an immediate answer. If a relevant example comes to mind, notice it. If nothing does, continue with the design. Reflection can be light and still be meaningful.
In supported settings, a teacher, counsellor or youth worker can invite discussion without requiring it. Questions such as “Was any part of that idea useful?” preserve autonomy better than asking a person to explain private thoughts in front of others.
A simple process
Use the thoughts–feelings–actions idea
Situation
Think of a manageable everyday situation rather than starting with the most difficult experience.
Thought
Notice the sentence or prediction that appeared in your mind and treat it as a thought, not automatically a fact.
Feeling and action
Name what you felt and what you wanted to do next, without deciding that either response was wrong.
Balance
Consider one fair alternative thought or one small action that could be more helpful now.
Choose your format
One complete resource. Two practical ways to use it.

Questions answered
Frequently asked questions.
These answers describe the resource accurately and avoid promises that a colouring book cannot make.
Does the book provide Cognitive Behavioural Therapy?
No. It uses short prompts inspired by general CBT ideas. Only an appropriately qualified professional can provide therapy tailored to an individual.
Is it a clinical workbook?
No. It is a creative wellbeing colouring book. It has no assessment, diagnosis, treatment plan or required written exercises.
Can a counsellor use selected pages?
A counsellor may decide that a page complements their existing work. They remain responsible for suitability, context, consent and professional practice.
Can the prompts be skipped?
Yes. Users can colour the artwork without engaging with a prompt, choose a different page or return to the words another time.
Important support information
A colouring book is not crisis or clinical support.
